If you have no experience in the matter, you might end up with a wrong bike which is something you want to avoid at all cost. A wrong bike would be useless in more ways than one.

This is why we recommend the DJ bike as one of the trustworthy options. Continue reading to find out all about what it delivers, about its pros and cons, features and specifications.

Features and Specifications:

First and foremost, we must mention the power this bike has. This is a powerful bike in every sense of the word thanks to its 750W motor. The 750W motor extends to 1000W peak power for those long hour rides on rough terrain.

Next comes the 625Wh battery. Its Samsung lithium battery is 48V/13Ah and completely removable. You can now dismount the battery for extra convenience especially when you’re away from home. It features a key lock, too, for added safety. It also comes with a charger that has its own safety design to prevent over-charging and over-heating.

The aluminum frame is durable and reliable. The sturdy and modern design is done in a way to look sleek and clean at all time. Plus, the matte black color of the bike adds to the overall design and appearance. Though this black looks great, many people aren’t happy with the lack of more colors to choose from.

For brakes, the DJ bike chose to feature Tektro disc brakes. These are one of the most secure and reliable types of brakes for the kind of bike this is.

The bike has Kenda brand all-purpose tires that measure 26’’x4’’ in total. These are durable and ideal for rough terrain. Besides, they can handle different weather conditions, too, from rain to snow.

Its heavy duty alloy rims are 26’’ (66cm) add to the durability of the bike as well as its ability to handle different roads and tracks.

It’s also important to note the Mozo suspension fork. It’s sturdy and features a preload adjustment with a lockout. The bike features 7-speed Shimano gears that give you the versatility and options you can choose from based on the road and weather.

With its King Meter LCD, you’re able to keep track of battery life, time, distance and speed. This is especially useful for people who ride in long-distances because it’s important to watch over battery in those cases.

The bike has a cushioned seat that’s quite comfortable and of good quality. It offers enough support for you to enjoy riding the bike every day and for an extended period. It’s also adjustable in three different ways which are ideal for people who share the bike with someone else.

When it’s fully charged, the bike can go for about 20mph which is the legal speed limit. However, the bike can achieve more than that.
It has five levels of pedal assist to help you when you’re tired of pedaling. The thumb throttle is also a good assist when you’re low on the battery. Using these two can help you save up some battery life, too, which is great if you’re riding for hours at a time.

One of the most significant benefits of this model is the fact that it’s completely serviceable. Most bike shops can handle whatever issue you might have after your warranty has expired. You do get a 1-year warranty from the manufacturer.

The overall impression is that the bike is big and bulky. It’s not far from the truth though because of its fat tires and sturdy frame. It weighs about 57lb which is on the heavier side for an electric mountain bike, but it’s certainly not the heaviest either

It’s crucial we mention that it comes only partially assembled. The attachment of a few small parts is left to you, which should be a problem at all. It’s an easy thing to do even if you don’t have much experience.

The Good

  • Five level pedal assist
  • Easy to maintain
  • Seven speeds
  • Kenda tires
  • Sturdy aluminum frame

The Bad

  • Only comes in black
  • It’s a bit on a heavy side

The Verdict

One thing we can guarantee is that everybody who sees you with the new DJ bike E-bike will have so many questions about it. You’ll be talking about its quality and performance all the time as all its other riders do. The attention this bike gets is insane.

If you don’t mind that it comes in no other color but black, you’ll grow to love this bike the first time you take it out. Also, it’s suitable for both men and women which is always a plus, though it’s a bit heavier. The fact that those are its only setbacks speaks quite enough of its quality.

Overall, it’s a good bike that performs well in different weather conditions, even rain and snow. It delivers on all kind of terrains regardless of whether they are flat or rough and bumpy.

It’s undoubtedly one of the best electric mountain bikes on the market coming from a trustworthy brand. If you want something impressive, powerful and durable, the DJ Bike E-bike is worth all your attention.

Hello just wanted to give you a quick heads up and let you know a few of the pictures aren’t loading correctly. I’m not sure why but I think its a linking issue. I’ve tried it in two different web browsers and both show the same results.
